The Garage and Facility Technician is a versatile role within our snowblowing company, combini
responsibilities of a Garage Technician with additional duties focused on facility renovations and
repairs. This position involves maintaining and repairing our fleet and equipment, performing
upkeep and improvements on company facilities, and conducting repair work at client properties
as needed.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform regular maintenance and minor repairs on snowblowing tractors and other
equipment to ensure they are operational and safe. - Inspect the fleet for potential issues, complete inspection lists, and address any
mechanical concerns. - Conduct facility renovations and repairs, including carpentry, plumbing, electrical work,
and other general maintenance tasks at company-owned properties. - Complete repair and maintenance requests at client properties, ensuring all work is
completed to a high standard and in a timely manner. - Ensure all tools, equipment, and supplies are properly maintained and available for use.
- Collaborate with the management team to plan and prioritize repair and renovation
projects. - Assist other team members with various tasks as directed by the Garage & Facility Manager.
Qualifications: - Experience in equipment maintenance, including knowledge of heavy equipment and
vehicle repairs. - Proficiency in general building maintenance tasks, including carpentry, plumbing, and
electrical work. - Strong problem-solving skills and mechanical aptitude.
- Valid driver’s license (G) and own transportation.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a strong commitment to safety.
Assets: - Experience with facility renovations and property maintenance.
- Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Bilingual ability is an asset.

Compensation:
Starting at $26/hr, commensurate with experience. A benefits package is included.
