This storm has underperformed significantly compared to earlier forecasts. We’re measuring around 3 cm on the ground, with most of the system tracking south of the city closer to the St. Lawrence.

Because totals stayed below our 5 cm service trigger, standard shovelling service will not be dispatched today. That said, clients enrolled in our Ultra 2.5 cm Service will still receive shovelling as usual, in line with their contract.

With yesterday’s snowfall combined with today’s, residential streets are still in rough shape. The City has started grader operations, and we’ll be following behind them to clear driveway windrows. To help smooth things out, we’ll also be doing a courtesy pass on all driveways throughout the day as the City works through the neighbourhoods.
