This week has certainly kept Orléans in its own little snow globe. We continue to see snowfall totals nearly double what’s being reported elsewhere in Ottawa.
We’ve been moving through a series of quick Alberta Clippers, and while yesterday’s system left just 1.8 cm at the Ottawa Airport, today’s separate round of flurries has brought us back into light accumulation across Orléans. We re-measured all driveways this morning and most remain below 4 cm.
With another band expected this afternoon — forecasted to bring an additional 1–3 cm — we’ll be heading out for a courtesy driveway run to keep everything clean between these back-to-back systems.
We’ll continue monitoring this active pattern and provide updates if conditions change.
