Is there a maximum snow fall limit?
Our contract covers up to a total accumulated snowfall amount of 250 cm.
Will you notify me when we reach the 250 cm limit?
Yes, we send out a notification email if we reach the 250 cm limit to inform you of your options.
What happens if the limit is reached?
We have a surcharge for accumulations beyond this limit. The surcharge is a flat rate $25(+HST). There is also an option to “opt-out” of service after 250 cm.
How do you track how much snow we’ve received?
We base our limit off the annual snow accumulation recordings provided by the Mac- Donald Cartier international airport website.
Does Ottawa usually go over the 250 cm cap?
Ottawa’s average accumulation is 210 cm, and we have only gone over 250 cm three times in the past 20 years.
Where can I find out how much snow we’ve accumulated so far this season?
