Snow Event – December 28

We hope you all had good food and memories this holiday season! This has been one of the biggest Decembers in the past 7 years bringing us just over 90cm of snow. Needless to say, it has been a busy start to the season.

Seems like we are in for one more snow event before the end of the year. This one should not be like the last two and would be more normal to this time of year. At this point, forecasters are calling for anywhere between 8-10cm of snow to fall overnight and into the morning before coming to an end around 12pm.

As this storm is 10cm or less, we typically wait near the end of the storm before starting our teams. Operators will be starting at 8am and shovel teams at 9am.

We do expect to see the city graders out again sometime in the morning and our teams will be working hard to stay on top of those city plow piles.

Please give our staff the time it takes to complete the work. Thank you and have a great evening!
